Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

Image
THIS IS MY 200TH POST!!   I cannot believe I've hit 200. I adore blogging and here's to 200 more! Now on to the post... Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award Hello! So Sinead from Dreaming Again just tagged me for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award! With it comes a list of questions to answer, as well as a tag for my fellow bloggers ☺ Thanks so much Sinead! Here are the rules: • Thank and link the blogger who nominated you. • Include the award logo in your post. • Answer the set of 10 questions that the blogger who nominated you has provided. • Supply your own set of 10 questions. • Nominate 10 other bloggers. My answers to Sinead’s questions: 1. What advice would you give to your younger self? Ah I would have to say to not take myself so seriously. I worked very hard throughout my secondary schooling and I put a lot of pressure on myself to always be the best. I needed to chill.  2. What is your favourite thing to do when ...

London Street Art | Faith47

Image
The next piece of street art is from a South African painter named Faith47. She is known for her use of existential symbolism to comment on nature and the human condition. This is a striking lion and was located on Brick Lane, opposite the wall that my previous post features. Thoughts?

London Street Art | Cranio

Image
Here's the next piece of street art.  This is a Blue Brazilian Indian by the artist Cranio.  I love the vibrant colours, the unique hidden messages, and the placement, which is on a corner right near the Rokit Vintage Clothing Shop in Brick Lane. This is Cranio's distinct character that he has placed all around Shoreditch in different scenarios. What do you think? xx

London Street Art | Frank Long

Image
Here's the next piece of street art made by Frank Long in Tower Hamlets, London. I could attempt to do some sort of analysis of this or talk about how cool I think it is, but I think it is more interesting to let the piece speak for itself.  What do you think?

London Street Art | WRDSMTH

Image
I have 18 more days living in London and then I move back to Cleveland, Ohio for the winter. I've been thinking of some way to incorporate more of the photos I have taken here into some unique posts and I have come up with this idea - for the next 18 days, I will post a photo of a piece of street art somewhere around London. There is such incredible street art all throughout the city so I hope this is interesting for you to see :)   The first one is this photo I took around Brick Lane of several different small art works. I love this sign by WRDSMTH. What do you think?

Cardiff Winter Wonderland

Image
Hello everyone!  So this past weekend I went to Cardiff, Wales :) It was so beautiful because they just started their Winter Wonderland. The entire city is filled with bright lights and wintery decorations. I had such a nice time with three of my best friends, Ron, Michelle and Ahmad. Here are some photos from our trip. We stayed at a budget hotel which ended up being less money than we would have paid for a hostel.    W e also recorded some videos on my camera - like a roast for each of us about the things we hate most about each other / all our flaws. It was actually quite hilarious and nothing we didn't know already :)   The next morning, we had ice cream and milkshakes for breakfast, ran around a maze, and got on our bus back to London! Hope you enjoyed the photos :) I'll have one more of these posts before I leave England because I am going to Amsterdam for my birthday next weekend!  xx

Winter is Coming

Primark is killing me guys. They have the cutest Winter/Christmas merch. I have succumbed to buying two pairs of mittens. These little guys are so adorable that I had to buy both. The pair on the left was £2 (reindeer) and the pair on the right (foxes) was £4. Also, update: I have 25 days left in England.... AHHHHHH!!!! xx
