Summer Staple | Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray

For yet another summer, the Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray has been an absolute staple in my makeup and beauty routine.

I adore this product. It is perfect for a long day out & about or for when you are going out at night. 

This makeup setting spray does just what the title says - it sets your makeup in place and controls natural oils that produce on your face because of foundation or concealer or sweat. 

In my routine, I will spray this two separate times on my face. Once after my foundation and concealer is applied but before my compact powder AND then again after I have completed my entire look, eyes and all. 

I recommend this product to anyone for the summer :) The heat of the sun can be brutal on makeup and make you feel like your entire face is melting off, but the De-Slick helps immensely in those desperate times.

    I just got this and loving it. I have been using the All Nighter for a while and decided to try this one out for the summer. Really helps control my oil for the hot summer days.

    I don't have the de-slick but I do have the All-Nighter and that one is pretty good, it didn't go above and beyond for the price but it worked.

Recipe | Watermelon Rice Krispies

June is here which means SUMMER HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! I can't wait to make fun summer inspired recipes for the next two months before I leave for England. I will share as much as I can with you and hopefully inspire you to try these out as well. SO, after over a week of not having my laptop to be able to blog on, I finally have it returned and fixed! I am so relieved and now without further ado, here are all of monthly favorites from August, starting with the beauty products and a book: - Philosophy's Purity Facial Cleanser is amazing! I used it for about three weeks with the Clarisonic and now that I am at college again (without my mother's Clarisonic), I have been using it just by itself. As I work it into a lather, I can feel my skin being refreshed.
