Recent Films Watched

Winter is the perfect movie going season! 
I love going to the theatre to see new films, but I also love staying at home and watching an old favorite with a cozy blanket and diet coke :) 
Recently in the theaters I have seen:
Mockingjay: Part 1
Into the Woods
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
At home I have watched:
The Interview (which my family bought on Youtube here)
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets
(My family is watching all of them in sequential order in light of our recent vacation to Hogwarts!)

    The last movie I watched was Love Actually. I'm a sucked for a good Rom-Com, this year i'm trying to watch more Sci-Fi movies as my friends love them & I have never really explored this genre of movies before. :) Let me know what you recommend in this genre!

      Ah Donnie Darko and Inception (which are consider both sci-fi and psychological thrillers) are my top recommendations!!! Love Actually is a classic, so no shame there :) xx

My little sister Mary, who is almost 13, makes headbands, bows, and clips for her hair out of cut material from old shirts and cheap fake flowers from the store... and they are amazing !! She is already a beauty/fashion guru in the making. I feel so inspired by her to be more creative with styling my hair, while saving a bit of money :) So here are some photos of her clips and headbands: Flower Love was inspired by a photo we saw on Pinterest*. Recipe | Watermelon Rice Krispies

June is here which means SUMMER HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! I can't wait to make fun summer inspired recipes for the next two months before I leave for England. I will share as much as I can with you and hopefully inspire you to try these out as well. My little sister and I saw Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi do these awesome watermelon inspired Rice Krispie treats in one of her most recent videos and we immediately knew we had to make them! She made a very healthy version but we knew our brothers and our dad would want to eat these so we went old school and used the traditional marshmallows and butter routine :) Ingrid always posts really yummy and exciting recipes that I definitely want to try. Monthly Favorites | August

SO, after over a week of not having my laptop to be able to blog on, I finally have it returned and fixed! I am so relieved and now without further ado, here are all of monthly favorites from August, starting with the beauty products and a book: - Philosophy's Purity Facial Cleanser is amazing! I used it for about three weeks with the Clarisonic and now that I am at college again (without my mother's Clarisonic), I have been using it just by itself. As I work it into a lather, I can feel my skin being refreshed. I really enjoy the general scent of it and so far I like how it has been cleaning my face.  - Now, everyone and their mother has been talking about the Maybelline Color Tattoos and I thought I would hop on the bandwagon and give them a whirl.
