With every 125 stars (I'm GOLD baby) on the Starbucks app, you get a free drink. I strategically and with lots of will power waited until September 1st to roll around. 

So yesterday it did, as it naturally does... and BOOM... three words. 

PUMPKIN.

SPICE.

LATTE. 

I have no regrets in admitting publicly that I am BASIC AS F*CK. But as I took my first sip stepping out on 99th and Broadway, actual tears were produced in my eyes and I felt so autumn it hurt.

My little sister Mary, who is almost 13, makes headbands, bows, and clips for her hair out of cut material from old shirts and cheap fake flowers from the store... and they are amazing !! She is already a beauty/fashion guru in the making. Recipe | Watermelon Rice Krispies

June is here which means SUMMER HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! I can't wait to make fun summer inspired recipes for the next two months before I leave for England. I will share as much as I can with you and hopefully inspire you to try these out as well. My little sister and I saw Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi do these awesome watermelon inspired Rice Krispie treats in one of her most recent videos and we immediately knew we had to make them! She made a very healthy version but we knew our brothers and our dad would want to eat these so we went old school and used the traditional marshmallows and butter routine :) Ingrid always posts really yummy and exciting recipes that I definitely want to try. Monthly Favorites | August

SO, after over a week of not having my laptop to be able to blog on, I finally have it returned and fixed! I am so relieved and now without further ado, here are all of monthly favorites from August, starting with the beauty products and a book: - Philosophy's Purity Facial Cleanser is amazing! I used it for about three weeks with the Clarisonic and now that I am at college again (without my mother's Clarisonic), I have been using it just by itself. As I work it into a lather, I can feel my skin being refreshed. I really enjoy the general scent of it and so far I like how it has been cleaning my face.  - Now, everyone and their mother has been talking about the Maybelline Color Tattoos and I thought I would hop on the bandwagon and give them a whirl.
