Love Spell

Image
Hey there! Lately I have really been into my Love Spell Lotion and Body Mist from Victoria's Secret. I have gone through an entire bottle of both before and I am so glad I purchased them again several months ago. Love Spell is such a classic to me because I wore it throughout high school and my sensory memory gets all nostalgic when I wear it.  Do you have a certain perfume or scent that reminds you of something?  What's your favorite perfume at the moment? xx

How To Keep the Perfect Travel Journal

Image
Hello  ♥ I am doing a Theatre Program in London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland for the month of August & then I am studying abroad in London (for the semester) from September to December.  I have a lot to plan & figure out so for the next couple of months, I will do several travel related posts both giving advice & insight, as well as asking you for your   advice!  I have been to Europe & the last few times I went I kept a journal. I look back on my entries & feel very nostalgic. I really do value being able to read details about all my experiences. Below is my journal that I kept my last time in England & I still have about 4/5 of the journal free. I got this journal as a graduation gift from one of my favorite high school teachers & it means a lot to me. So, since I have lots of free pages, I have decided to bring this one with me & hopefully fill it by the time December rolls around.  I recently read an article on how to keep the

Reading is Dreaming With Your Eyes Open

Hello everyone! I have been reading a lot this semester and as a theatre major, the majority of what I read is plays!   I did a post about reading last June called It's Always Words that Undress You . I thought I would do a post talking about specifically reading plays because I truly think that everyone should read more plays. This photo below shows only about half of the plays I have had to read this academic year so far (the rest either are in my massive anthology of plays or scripts online). There are some good ones and some that don't really make my merry go round. However, I have learned so much from reading them! Not only do you get to explore characters and unique plots, but when reading a play, envisioning the action can be so rich and entertaining! I also love how they are much shorter than a novel and are usually very concise. They are a good, relatively short, vivid read.  Some of my favorites from below include: The Women of Lockerbie   The American

Current Beauty Favorites

Hello lovelies! It feels like it's been ages since I did a beauty related post. I wanted to share with you the products I have been loving recently.  The first product is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Fair. I really like using liquid concealer with an easy to use, thin brush like this. It  goes on very smoothly and has been great for under my eyes and blemishes.  So next are the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm Stains .  The two that I have are Sweetheart (025) and Rendezvous (040). Sweetheart is a very bright, happy pink. I don't have any other lipstick in a similar color so this is a first. I really want MAC's Candy Yum Yum, which is also a very bright pink, but I thought that this was a more reasonable price. Rendezvous is a vivid orange. I LOVE orange lips so I think this moisturizing lip stain is perfect as the weather is changing.  Next favorite is the  Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Brown. I adore this product. It is so smooth whe

update | my life

Hello everybody! I have recently gained a few new followers so hello and thank you for following me :) I thought today I would do a sort of unconventional post. This is basically an update on what's going on in my life. Honestly I don't know how interesting my life really is but I thought it would be nice to share what I've been up to and hear back from you!  Spring semester of my sophomore year has been pretty damn good so far. Last semester I had a lot of anxiety and suffered from a few panic attacks. I think most of that stress was caused by the show I was stage managing and my friends, but this semester has been free of most of those worries :) I have had tons of incredible nights spent with my closest friends just hanging out and loving life. I also stage managed a show, Bobby Hebert, that just closed last night. The people I got to work were amazing and I cherish that experience so much. I am also acting in The Gas Heart , which goes up in about a month, as we
