For some reason, spring semester rolls around and all my friends & I want to do is watch movies! Recently (within the last three weeks) I have seen some awesomely funny, some beautifully sentimental, and some pretty effed up movies that I want to share with you! I have included the following for each movie: - The title - The MPAA (based on level of appropriateness for certain audiences) rating - My rating on a scale of 1-10 (10 being AMAZING and 1 being DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE ITS CRAP). - What I loved about it Stuck in Love MPAA Rating: R My rating: 10 Watch this movie. It was the best thing I have seen in a while. Great cast - Lily Collins, Logan Lerman, Nat Wolff, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly - really beautiful story, very clever and witty, and a KILLER soundtrack (probably the best I have heard in a long time). I Give It A Year MPAA Rating: R My rating: 7.5 I loved the cast of this too - Rose Byrne, Rafe Spell, Ana Ferris, Simon Baker, Minnie Driver

Review | Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser

Image
Hello everyone!  I thought I would do a quick review of a new product that I have been using. It is the Damage Eraser Reconstructing Butter from Garnier Fructis. It smells really nice and the texture of the butter is very smooth on my hair. You apply this in between your shampoo and conditioner and leave it on for 3-5 minutes.  I am always looking for a product that can strengthen  my hair because I have damaged it so much through dyeing. Fun fact: I haven't dyed my hair since LAST APRIL and I have actually been very happy with my hair color. This is the longest I have gone without dyeing it, but I can feel that I will break it soon... who knows what color I will try this time! So anyway, back to this particular product. It claims to reconstruct hair's strength and I do have to say that my hair feels much healthier after only using this product for a week. I would recommend this product because 1) it is only $5 and 2) it smells good and 3) it works from my experience!

january music

Hello all :) So I am really excited to do a review of some of the music I have been loving from this past month. Amidst my undying love for my favorites (Ellie Goulding, alt-j, Friendly Fires, American Authors, etc. etc.) I have some new finds that I have been really getting into over the past several weeks.   1) The Dig - These guys are awesome. They are a four-piece psych pop band based in NYC. Their album Midnight Flowers is on point. I love the songs "I Already Forgot Everything You Said" and "Hole in My Heart". 2) Into It. Over It. - Evan Weiss has a pretty sick, indie voice. He gets a bit too rock band cliché for me at times, the kind of music my younger brother likes and the stuff you would find at a Battle of the Bands, but his slow, calm guitar ballads are beautiful.  Check out "Your Antique Organ" and  "The Frames That Used to Greet Me".  3) Jagwar Ma - These boys are my shit right now. I love their album Howlin. They

Watch some TV!!! 1) VERONICA MARS So this show has been a recent obsession for Grace, after Ron(a friend of ours) and I introduced her to it. It is literally an AMAZING show that keeps you at the edge of your seat in every single episode! It just makes you so emotional and while it has been off the air (after its unfortunate cancellation in 2007), it has resurrected from the dead due to its loyal fans! And now, we can look forward to its movie which comes out March 14!! (Get it? PI day??) You can watch all the episodes if you are a Amazon Prime member (Just do the free month trial :))  2) THE OF
