I'm Traveling!
So hello there my lovely readers! How have you all been?
I absolutely love to travel. Just from attending my university in New Jersey (which is about 8-9 hours away from my home town in Cleveland) and meeting new people who have invited me home with them, I traveled to FOUR states that I had never been to before (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Massachusetts). I have a map of the world in my bedroom which I sometimes find myself gazing at, having day dreams about me traveling the world. I have probably been to more places than most adults have so far in my life but I aspire to see so much more!
My dream places to travel to right now are Australia, Greece, Italy, and Slovenia. What is/are yours?
So the point of this post though is to tell you that I have a very busy few weeks ahead of me! I am hoping that I will be able to keep up with my blogging but I don't know how often I will be able to post. Here's the low down:
On Thursday, my family (minus my older brother who has to stay in Columbus for his internship) and I are flying out to Portland, Oregon for five days. My cousin Amanda (who is my idol) is getting married :) I will take loads of photos and then do a post to show you my outfits and the places we go. I have never been anywhere in the west (apart from Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon) so I am very excited!
Literally three hours after I get home from the airport (at midnight) I will be leaving (at 3:30 am) with one of my closest friends from high school, Mary Gael, to embark on an adventure to New York and New Jersey to spice up our summer! We are going to be taking the Megabus (which is a beautifully cheap mode of transportation) to NYC and then taking the train to my university [my friend Gabby is staying on our campus doing a summer mentorship program] in New Jersey, where we will be meeting up with several of my best friends from college for five days of CRAZY. I am sure we will be doing some very fun things so I will be sure to document it all with photos as well.
Four days after I return I leave again! This time it is to Washington D.C. for my little sister's Irish dance competition (the Nation's Capital Feis). We usually stay with my aunt and uncle who live in Potomac, Maryland and have a weekend filled with shopping, eating, bonding, and catching up.
Amongst ALL THIS, I have many celebrations throughout the rest of this month. Of course my cousins wedding (July 13th), my younger brother's birthday (July 19th), Mary Gael's birthday (July 21st), my parent's anniversary (July 28th) and then my mum's birthday (July 31st).
I will hopefully blog throughout the rest of my chaotic month but I will definitely have more time to breath in August for lots of posts.
So, are you going/have you gone anywhere special this summer? I would love to hear about your trips/experiences :)
Well, have a splendid Tuesday!
xx
